Don`t Assume
Maybe Brittany Murphy, as well as her husband Simon Monjack 9 months later, wouldn`t have died in vain had they been aware of it. Initially assumed to be attributed to a drug overdose or eating disorder, it was later determined that actress Brittany Murphy died of natural causes due to pneumonia in December of 2009. In a shocking twist of fate, nine months later in May of 2010, her husband suffered the same fate. Murphy`s mother Sharon now claims to have proof that it was toxic mold in her daughters home that is to blame for both deaths.
For something that most people consider to be a joke or `all in your head` mold sicknesses and reactions are quite real and can have detrimental long-term effects. Project Human Awareness asks a very valid question: ``If it`s not real; then why do insurance companies issue payouts of over $1 billion a year in mold related claims?`` It is more than just damage to your home--it`s been linked to damage in your lungs, sinuses, appetite and many other functions in your body. Basic mold exposure and serious mold exposure present themselves differently; although constant exposure to even milder molds can eventually chip away at your body`s resistance and immunity to its effects.
Basic Mold Exposure Symptoms: usually resemble allergies, but if they persist it`s time to see your doctor:
- Sneezing
- Itchy, watery eyes
- Epidermis itching/irritation
- Headache
Serious Mold Exposure Symptoms:
- Perpetual headache
- Chronic Sinus Infections
- Constant feeling of lethargy/fatigue
- Swollen glands particularly in your lymph node areas like your neck
- Abrupt asthma attacks
- Nose bleeds
These are just some of the symptoms; there are many other symptoms associated with mold sickness. For a complete list of symptoms, please visit: moldsickness.organd speak with your doctor as soon as possible if you suspect that you may have mold sickness. It`s a shame that such a bright and talented person wasn`t made aware of this.
